I had the opportunity to ask a few questions to the esteemed József Vass (jocokkk), author of Wake Up Spring! and several other works in the shop. József has been part of the community for a while and has kept submitting great art pieces on a regular basis. So without further ado, the interview:

Q: Could you please share a little background information with the audience?

Name: József Vass
Age: 22 years old, feeling 17 :-)
Country: Romania, in the middle of beautiful Transylvania
Occupation: I had graduated at Partium Christian University Department of Fine Arts, and now I'm a freelance graphic designer.

Q: How did you discover YayArt?

A: I discovered YayArt when I was a student. Lot's of good friends were already artists at YayArt, so I took a look on the yayart.com webpage, liked what I saw, and entered my first submissions. I loved the contemporary art aspect and the community.

Q: What do you think of the voting process?

A: I think that the voting process is the most fair way to select the best works, because you can see a majority consensus of which are the most loved and popular works in this community.

Q: What do you think of the other art pieces in the shop? Any favorites?

A: Every art piece has the own beauty, and from each art, we can find out a lot of things about the artist. I have many favorites in the shop, and I have many compliments for all of them. They are great artists, so my message for them is "Don't stop making great art my fellows!!! The world need us, and we need the world!:)"

Q: With 3 art pieces in the shop, you are one of the more popular artists, any tips for artists trying to make it into the shop?

A: Just to don’t stop making a lot of wonderful works, and don’t stop submitting them. The most important key is to submit the kind of works which will look good in larger size too. And my opinion is that before you submit select those works of yours which you think are the best. So the tip should be that an artwork can’t be created just in five minutes, an artwork it’s not just a photo with some cheap effects. An artwork should transmit the thought, the soul, the personality of the artist.

Q: You have recently cashed out your first payment for the art pieces you have sold. What did you spend it on?

A: I just want to buy a domain and a place on a server to launch a webpage with my works. I hope this will be possible soon.

Q: Any new wonderful art works in progress?

A: I already submitted one of my new works in the vote section: “Desire”. Every day I’m working on something new, but in the end, I select the one or two pieces which I think are the best for YayArt!

Congrats again 'jocokkk' :) You really have a great style :) and I'm glad that you share your art with us :D
best wishes!!!!!
