Hello Yayart Team, I remember the start of this website and competition, I win and other people win a contract of 4.800 euro. In the contract was written To get this amount of money we need to sell a lot of Painting, and earning for each sell, 8 euro.
Now.. I sell 19 painting and I supposed to earn 152 euro, but I see in my status my profit is more or less 50 euro... so what happens?

The artist receives the following payment for each print sold:

UMM OK, but.. I wonder, I didn't sign any contract about those new payments...
did They just decide for us?

I don't know how it was at the beginning but right now this are the artist's payments...at first I thought too thet this is to low...but here it's not important the money...:p
ohhh and when you submit you work you sign the "contract"=legal terms

Good to see you again :)
You should actually be please since we've increased the payment from 8€ to 16€ on the big canvases, and from 8€ to 10.70€ on the middle. We didn't make a big legal thing out of it, since we figured most people wouldn't mind a bigger cut :)
And we've introduced prints, which is a whole new source of income, which again, we hope you don't mind. About the 4800€, its always been the maximum earning if an artpeice sell 500 copies of canvas prints. Its always hard to predict sales numbers, and different pieces sell differently, but the possibily to earn it is definitely still there.
We're working very hard here at YayArt to promote the site, and increase our artists sales, but we're not a place where you can sit back and expect to earn 4800€ when you enter our shop. Artists that promote their work sell more. And please remember that buying graphic art is still pretty exotic and new to most people, so people are a bit carefull buying the first time.
However, our sales are increasing every month, and hopefully one day we will be able to have a piece 'Sold Out' :)
