Hi Yayart Team! I just wondering how is possible that my art in the shop in 20 days got just 73 view, and you sell just 5 canvas? Did you make a Facebook account to advertise this website? a Myspace? a Hi5? in Deviantart? I'm just questioning 'cause I never see anything about yayart in any website, no advertsing, no banner, no community website... and If I didn't know the name of this website, It is also hard to find....
see you^^

Hello Dario
We only recently started selling. So it will take some time to get the wheels going. Like it takes some time before the first people get their pictures and their friends see it. So far we have had very good response from people seeing the pictures in real life. We have also had google adwords running for a couple of days.
As for online advertisement. We have a facebook group with 209 members:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=15445350521
And we have been trying to push some of the blog entries to digg:
http://digg.com/comedy/Who_says_great_art_and_humor_can_t_go_together
We try to focus on a few things at a time, that's why you might not see it everywhere right away.
Please help spread the word if you have a digg account or a facebook account :)

Well, so far we have had one person working fulltime the last month talking to various people, all of it offline. The idea has been to find out whether we could get a reseller deal, e.g. with a big home deco chain. I think some have expressed their interest but nothing concrete yet.
The online efforts have been focused on getting the shop in a better shape and trying out a couple of different things in small scale. We've spend some money on Google Adwords and found out that we need to tweak the site to actual make people buy (it's too hard for newcomers to discern what exactly they are buying) which we're doing right now. I expect we'll roll out the changes this week.
We've been holding off some of the publicity efforts until we've got the shop changes out. The idea is to convert more of our shop visitors into buyers before we spend more money on them. If we can make this work, we can get a lot of visitors from adword campaigns. There's also a Facebook app on its way.
A lot of this stuff sounds simple, but most of it doesn't really work before you pour enough time into it, unfortunately. So it's moving a bit slower than we'd hoped.

I'm not criticze^^ I just want help you... I have an account on Deviantart since 2006, I never sold nothing and I have reached 2000 views, and Deviantart is cheaper then Yayart... Anyway I think yayart is thousand time better, deviantart is just a shit website where everyone put there his shit ehhe
I just think 250 dollars is too much really... I have no one friends will spend 250 dollars for a canvas, either I will never spent all those money...
ANyway I'm thiking about to improve this website^^

No offense taken. :) I just wanted to clarify what we're working on, we've not been terribly good at communicating it out to you guys.
We're thinking about the product and pricing, too, but I'm not sure that's the problem right now. Let's see.

try to look what you see in yayart now
Hi Darioberardi about your comment (Anyway I think yayart is thousand time better, deviantart is just a shit website where everyone put there his shit ehhe)
look ,what do you see in yayart now, talented people, and not so talented, the same thing its gone a happen to yayart. More self control/ self critique, people create things and call it art, the word are losing its
Mining, you can discus taste, but you can see when people are lacing of skills and that is not good for yayart, and for the people ho really are making and effort, better skills please. It is just one opinion
And others can have another Best regards. OscarVela

What I am trying to tell is that yayart got things whit good skills and talent, and people ho has less skills and talent, we can't discus taste, but we can discus skills, it will always be a mix, and people are voting taste. Keep on :)

Hi. We sent it with Pan Nordic Logistics: http://www.pannordic.com/en/ It's owned by the Danish and Norwegian national post organisations as far as I know. I looked up India in their delivery time sheet and it says 4-6 everyday days - though without customs processing. I'll contact the subcontractor who's responsible for handling and shipping and see if we can figure out what's happened.
