Birth Of A Song

I've always wondered at the mystery of songwriting. Even after thirty five years of writing songs I wonder where the tunes come from. I love it when strangers tell me I've created a tune completely original, one they've never heard before and they like it. Often in the middle of the night I'll write down something from a dream that I could use in a song lyric. So I have this tune come from somewhere and the lyrics float in. I attempted to describe the mystery here in this image.

I think what really hurts this print is the fact that it was a tall print and being boxed in has ruined the format. almost two thirds of the print is not showing. Sorry about that, I'd take it off if I could, maker
