Fishbowl

Thinking about contrast and about making the fish the central piece of the image, I chose to create a peaceful environment for it. I also chose to add a little bit of fantasy by creating graphical types of plants for the fishbowl, instead of realistic ones. I think that added a pleasant decorative element to the work without stealing the attention from the fish.
I thought about the act of watching a real fishbowl and the pleasant sensations it brings and I tried to create a little bit of these sensations with this work.

I like to work with the ordinary aspect of life - objects, moments, actions - and to enlarge them so we can see them, so they don`t just pass by without changing anything inside us.
I’m graduated and have a master degree in Art. I have also been working as a freelance illustrator.
