Leave me alone

The piece entitled, Leave me alone, is from a series of 25 digital photo-illustrations called “Insane Postcards” where I develop how we feel being a part of this society: full of pressures, full of stress, conditioned by factors such as economy, work, the restless fight for positions within the society and how many times we feel cornered without being able to find a way out, and how as a direct consequence of that, we experiment how thin the line that separates madness from sanity is. Most of the times without realizing it.
Paraphrasing the statement on Insane Postcards...
“Making it to heaven or to hell is just as easy. It just depends on which side you lose your head”
It is a mix of photographs and digital painting on them, done in Photoshop CS.

I have always had the need to express myself by creating art. In fact, it is one of the things I am thinking all the time, by developing ideas, images, themes, etc.
My relation to art is a constant search of possibilities about composition, light, colors instead of just letting me flow and enjoy the process, so I think my behaviour when I create is closer than an intellectual suffer than a funny game.
I try to keep my mind sharp by keep my body in shape, so I used to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in my free time and I like to read books, especially horror novels like Stephen King's stuff
