Martin was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 15th of June of 1974. The first activity he remembers related with his current work is that he drew just about everything that set before his eyes.

Since he was a little boy he began to show himself as withdrawn, encountering in drawing a place where he could fully express his inner world.

Once a choice had to be made on a undergraduate carreer, Fine Arts was the logical choice. He graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in 1999 majoring with a “Degree of National Professor of Drawing and Painting” from the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes “Prilidiano Pueyrredón”, degree which he would later re-validate as a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts in the European Community.

After some years of seeking a personal style which would depict him, Martin decided to become a pro in 2006, specializing in the creation of dark fantasy imagery for Music, Films, Publishing and Horror-related industries.

He decided to move to Barcelona, Spain in 2001 and in 2007 to the Principality of Andorra, where he is currently residing.

Since then, Martín has illustrated, provided artwork and been featured in numerous publications and websites around the world.
These include such publications as Stone Arch Books, Late Late Show, Doorways Magazine, Razar Magazine, Space and Time, Z-Man Games and many more.

Some of his music band clients have been Walls of Jericho, Tha Vill, and Silent Night Deadly Night, among others.

He has made several group and solo exhibits in Argentina, United Sates (including Los Angeles Center of Digital Art), Spain and Denmark.

Martin has won numerous prizes in different drawing contests, including first prize at "Inner Noise" exhibit in Caladan Gallery from Massachusetts on 2008, and the award of "Best Comic Book" in the New York Horror Film Festival 2007.

"Since 1998, I have been involved in the creation of dark art, developing themes like the pass of time and the unavoidable arrival of old age and death.
I have always tried to focus my attention in expressing the desperation, anxiety and oppression that people feel when this time comes by creating dense atmospheres where characters are immersed.
I have always liked mixing different media in my drawings and I have been finally able to explore all those possibilities when I started making digital art.
Digital has opened Pandora’s box to me, giving me the freedom of combining my photographs with digital painting every time I need it and it has also increased the speed of my production.
To create the atmospheres mentioned above, I use light and color contrasts, with highlights and dark shadows, since I am influenced by the work of the ancient masters like Caravaggio and Michelangelo. I also add textures and some visual noise to the backgrounds".

He is also co-founder/director of Pit Bros. Productions, an indie comic company.
