The artist behind daniellesgarden
daniellesgarden
I studied Fine Art at duCret School of Art in Plainfield, NJ in the United States. I graduated magna cum laude, valedictorian in 2000. Upon graduation I wanted to create a website for myself so that I might promote my artwork better, After working in the various programs to do so I realized how much I enjoyed doing it. This began my career as a web designer and digital artist. I still paint and draw and doubt I would ever give that up, as much as I love the cleanliness of digital media I still like getting my hands and everything else dirty with pastels, watercolor and oil paint.
When I am not working for myself or for clients I can usually be found in my garden or with my husband. I have hundreds of different flowers and I enjoy all the time I spend with them, they are like my children, second only to my three cats. My husband and I attended the same art school, and he is an amazing artist, I am not being biased either. The two of us work on collaborated paintings and drawings from time to time and those pieces are often my favorite works.

Almost all of my artwork is very personal. I used to feel alone in my thoughts and world until I started opening up to people and telling them or showing them with my artwork my feelings. At this point I realized that although I was painting or drawing from my personal experiences and thoughts other people were associating themselves in the same situations.
My work is best described as romantic, fun, hopeful and sometimes depressing, which is no coincidence the same way I would describe myself.
The world around me and the people around me are my inspirations as well as my influences. That might be a broad description, but you can't put a limitation on something like that.
