Amrita Sahay

I am not from a design family background but from a young age I was interested in painting, drawing and making crafts. I was initially interested in structural design at High school but towards the end I decided to immerse myself into the world of computer graphic design and I'm in my final year of studying in that area. As an artist I take criticism and turn it into constructive advice because it is a skill that is good to have.

Besides design and artwork, I play soccer and hockey and also love to play computer games too.

I would describe my works as having interesting concepts. I attempt to follow current design trends but end up creating works that mostly reflect aspects of my Indian culture; energetic, bright colours and vibrant elements. I aim to make my works stand out from the ones around me so that the ideas and style are noticed better. Minimalism and typography make rare appearances in my designs because I love to go overboard with a flow of everything.
