So quite a few YayArt pieces have left the comforts of the nest. And we started to wonder what kind of homes do they end up in? Do they end up in nice clean friendly homes and are they taken properly care of? We're worried.
So we startede to investigate what actually happens to our dear pieces when they leave the YayArt home?!
"Show me your home" has started and our first victim is Anders!
Who are you?
Well, I'm a 26 year old software developer from Denmark.
Do you have any experience with art?
No, I have nearly almost none experience with art. Bought two pictures when I was in New York a few years ago and had them framed when I got back home. My new apartment looked really empty with only those two pictures, so I was looking for something to make it look more like a home, than an storage department. :)
Which pieces did you adopt?
I bought Three Little Birds, Khaki Graffiti and Majestic. I fell in love with Majestic the first time I saw it, I knew it would look amazing on print, the same with Three little birds. I considered a few others, but I quickly narrowed it down to those two. Khaki Graffiti was last one I added, I wasn't sure if I wanted it, but there was something about it that warranted a second look. Now with it hanging on the wall there are no regrets. I found the perfect spot for it :)
Do you have any requirements for your art?
I really don't know to be honest, I know it when I see it. I wouldn't consider myself to be particular into art or anything. Although I do enjoy browsing the submissions and enforcing the swift hand of justice :)
Do you have any comments for the yayart community?
Keep the submissions coming. Just because the walls are covered for now doesn't mean there isn't room for a new masterpiece should it come :)
Thanks for letting us visit your home Anders, you're a darling!
And thank you to jemsweb for sharing the peeking photo.
