Firstly – I'm relatively new here so hello to anyone I haven't spoken with yet, and hello again to those I have. ;)
I just wondered does Yayart support special printing techniques such as overprints, spot colours, varnishes, phosphorous inks, embossing etc? Or even special paper stocks such as matt, gloss, thermal or recycled etc?
Sometimes what's lost in translation with digital prints is the tactile quality that both artwork and well-considered design have. A spot varnish on a piece can really bring it to life as can a screen-printed section of a poster.
Might be worth considering in the future, I think that little added extra contributes to the value of the work, and guarantees the buyer that they are getting something extra special.
I realize of coarse there would be extra costs included, but I think it might be worth it. Just a thought though. What do other people think?
Ger.

... well after 80 years all of the digitally printed work on paper has to be thrown away :) It is because the colors are fading with the time. :) So enjoy your digital Art pieces, they will never going to be technically comparable to traditionally made Art. I think you are right more or less but who cares.

M, all colors fade with time even those applied on traditionally
made art...whether it's hand painted or printed on silk or
"printed on plastic panel and make a light box or screen for example"
I'm thinking...hey, if an art print I bought for $9-$50
lasts 80 years...I'm all for it.
