Rising Sun

A section of an assignment, in which we created a calendar page, which had to relate to the month we were given.
My month was January, and my theme was "Coming of Age Day" which historically happened in Japan during this month.
The mountain featured is Mount Ruapehu, which is local to my hometown, and is always seen during summer.
The image has be reproduced to have the look and style of a Japanese woodcut, and this includes the colours, medium and textures used.
