this peace is about the feeling that you are allways "on the moove" ... life is getting faster and fater and you are carried away by the circumstances withought realising where you are and where you are going....

This is just great! A modern interpretation of a painting! Still have lots of colours and the real scenery, but has such a future feeling about it. A glimpse in fast forward life!
Love the way you use the warm colours, in something that seems so hectic! The square sets focus on the walking person, in a very simple way. Feels like you're seeing the person through another lense.

I love comments, they make this place so much more interactive... thanks guys!!!

With all this explosion of colors I was trying to communicate the incredible intensity of modern life. Funny enough, the person on this peace is actually me walking on the beach barefoot enyouing the cold water of the sea and that state of mind I had during that moment is in such a contrast with how I feel when I have to run through the day

so making this peace was my attempt to preserve this state of mind in an intencity of everyday life to find some sort of ballance withiught loosing the track of life and reality...

Glad you are enjoying it :o)

They are very powerfull colours, like the eye can't even absorb it! So trying to communicate intensity with them, works very well.

i like the box. makes it feel that even though things are flying past, she's still aware of it, and not just swept up in it.

but seriously now, I actually did try to blend in the edges and it didn't work - the figure was completely lost in the surroundings...however boxed in it gives a good counterballance in the form of collor and shape in the composition

thanks for the comment!

i think out of all your pieces i do like this one the best..which appears to be a shared feeling :). i am taken aback at your insight to box in your figure. it was the last thing to be added..and you found it. i have difficulty getting to that spot myself at times .
i love love love the colors they seem to oppose the stillness of the figure and really speaks volumes without being to loud
Yay!
